Q: What happened to QuickBooks Desktop?
A: As of July, 2022, Intuit no longer offers trial software for QuickBooks Desktop. Educators should begin teaching QuickBooks Online. See our Survival Guide for help making the transition.
Q: The computer lab at my school already has QuickBooks Desktop installed. Even though Intuit no longer offers the trial software (effective 07/31/22), can I still teach with your QuickBooks Desktop book?
A: Yes, Labyrinth will continue to sell the remaining stock of our QuickBooks Desktop books. Once we run out printed textbooks, only ebooks will be available. When you're ready to make your switch to QBO, check out our Survival Guide for help with the transition.
Q: Does Certiport still offer QuickBooks Desktop Certification?
A: Even though Intuit no longer offers trial software for QuickBooks Desktop, Certiport will offer the QBD certification until May 2024. Learn more

Q: Where can I find my eLab course code?
A: If you have not integrated with your institution's LMS (i.e. your students sign into eLab directly), your course code can be found under the Manage tab in your eLab course.
If you’ve integrated eLab with your LMS, students will access eLab from the LMS without the need for a course code.
Q: How do I access the instructor resources for my textbook?
A: Visit the Instructor Support Materials page and click on the solution you're using (educator login required). You'll find the files linked from there.
Q: How do I request a review or desk copy of a textbook?
A: Browse our materials and click the link of the title you'd like to review. Then click on "Request a review copy." From there you'll be prompted to log in or register as an educator and then fill out the request form.
Q: Do you offer instructor versions of your textbooks?
A: All of our textbooks are the same version, but instructors can register on our website to download our Instructor Support Materials.
